Why Dead Weight Exists

Training hard is easy. Recovery is the part most people skip.

Dead Weight was built on one idea: when you push your body, it keeps a tab

For years, I prioritized output. More weight, more reps, more hours at the office. Until the body started pushing back. Always being "on" without being able to reset. The constant feeling of being wired even when I was exhausted. The restless nights that left me more tired than when I went to bed. Performance that never fully recovered. The harder I pushed, the deeper my recovery debt became.

Bloodwork looked normal. Training looked normal. Life looked normal. But my body clearly wasn't recovering.

All of it pointed to the same thing: a body under chronic stress with nowhere to recover.

The body changes. If your recovery doesn't keep up, the training you love starts working against you.

Sleep isn't laziness. Recovery isn't weakness. It's the work that makes the other work possible.

We're not here to nourish your soul or align your chakras. Recovery debt gets paid down one night at a time.

Rest Heavy.
